Re-homing Help Needed
Wednesday, 20 August 2008

Request from a reader...

I have two beautiful Shetlands that I rescued from a miserable existence in February 2008. The problem with the stables I am currently at is the grassing for the Shetlands, plus I have to move my two horses to another yard for different reasons. I want the Shetlands to have a nice home and therefore requesting your help if possible for re-homing. Both have been together for a number of years, separation is not really an option, they are lovely natured, easy to catch, trim feet etc.

BDS Oaks Driving Show, 10/8/2008
Tuesday, 12 August 2008

Always a popular event among driving enthusiasts, the show attracted some huge numbers forward for the many and varied classes held throughout the day.
Liz Howe and John Heck’s Camlan Glesni (pictured below) won the first class of the morning, the Potential Driving Youngstock In-Hand. The class was open to all breeds and heights, Glesni was the only Shetland forward and collected the Youngstock trophy, second place went to a New Forest pony.
Not to be outdone, stable mate Princess’s Goodgollymissmolly (pictured above) performed her best display yet to win the driven Shetland class, put to a spindle-back gig. Second place was Margaret Andrews single Shetland put to a spider phaeton.
